To mark the 800th anniversary of his death this study day sets the famous (but not well-known) saint in his historical context, introduces the key themes of his spirituality and theology, and explores the legacy of the Franciscan tradition today. There will be suggestions for further exploration (through art, music and film as well as literature and prayer) and opportunities for questions and discussion.
