FAQS

What can I expect each day?

Every day there will be different activities, some provided by external people like our mad scientists and some will be in house events from our education department. There will be an end of week celebration with bouncy castles and games.

How long is each day?

The day begins at 9am and finishes at 4pm. We will have an hour's lunch break at 12 noon.

Do I stay with my child?

No, you will leave them with us. We will have a large team of volunteers who will all be fully DBS checked and first aiders on site each day

Is lunch provided?

No, we ask that you send your child with a packed lunch that doesn't contain nuts. Hopefully this means they'll eat plenty of food they like to get energised for the rest of the day! We'll provide snacks and drinks at the break times

My child is only 5, will they be with older kids all day?

No, we'll divide the group into two, roughly KS1 and KS2

What should my child wear?

Whatever they're comfortable in! If the weather is hot, we ask that you put sunscrean on them before they come in and send them with some to top up. On the last day we have a bouncy castle and games so they may want to wear something appropriate for this

Do I need to send them with a bag?

If you would like to send any extra items, such as hats or jumpers then please make sure all items are labelled and in a bag for your child

Can I book on for one day?

No, you will need to book your child on to the full week

What's the cost?

£100 for the entire week. We have a discount for those receiving free school meals and some bursary places, please contact us if you would like to speak more about this

Can I park to drop my child off?

Unfortunately not, but there are carparks in town, Drovers Way or Christopher Place are closest
