Fr Fadi Diab, Rector of Ramallah welcomed to St Albans Cathedral Yesterday we were privileged to welcome Fr Fadi Diab, Rector of Ramallah, to the Cathedral. He shared a fascinating dialogue with the Dean of Salisbury, The Very Revd Nick Papadopulos, who knows the Middle East well and spent three months in East Jerusalem during his recent sabbatical. Fr Fadi shared the challenges of being a Christian in the current climate in the Middle East and spoke powerfully of the need for prayer, solidarity and support from Christians around the world. The event was organised by the Cathedral Social Justice Team and Fr Will Gibbs commented: "It was so inspirational to hear first-hand Fr Fadi's lived experience and the way he shared his stories powerfully drawing on Biblical passages will linger long in our memories and continue to inspire us."
