On Saturday 27 June members of the Guild of Servers gathered for a morning of fellowship and training. The Precentor explored the history of Altar serving, learning about the minor orders of the early church and how these still shape our practise today. Guided by Head Server Jim Larkin, the guild had a practical session on serving for a low mass and there was a chance to ask questions and clarify good practise.

We are keen for new servers to join the team, children and adults are very welcome.
