Friends’ visit to the garden of the Earl and Countess of Verulam at Maynes Farm, Gorhambury

Thursday 13 June 2024 from 6.15pm 

We are delighted that our Patron Lady Verulam has kindly agreed to open her garden at Maynes Farm to the Friends for a summer evening visit. This beautiful garden contains a series of enclosures around the house, studio and barn, extending outwards to include an orchard and wild flower meadow. Maynes Farm forms part of the historic Gorhambury Estate, and the garden offers stunning views of surrounding countryside and the Cathedral.

The evening will start from 6.15pm with a welcoming drink and nibbles, and thereafter visitors are free to wander at leisure until 8pm, to enjoy the garden and the company of other Friends.  There are paved and mown pathways to follow, with some steps, so sensible footwear is recommended.  Garden seating is available along the way, although wheelchair access is limited.

Further details on entry to the estate and parking will be emailed to those booking to join the visit.

Tickets for this event cost £10 per person. Closing date 5 June 2024.
