St Albans Cathedral celebrates the appointment of Archdeacon Jane Mainwaring as the new Bishop of Hertford. The gift of Archdeacon Jane’s leadership is already known and treasured in our Diocese and we rejoice in her friendship and support for our Cathedral and Abbey Church. We join our prayers for the Bishop elect and her family as they prepare for her to take up this new ministry and we assure her of our support.

Archdeacon Jane will be attending Evensong tonight at 5pm (Thursday 24 November). All are welcome to join the service.
