September 2024 brings an exciting time for us as we celebrate the 40th anniversary of the Education Centre and Education Trust at St Albans Cathedral. During this time we have worked with over 400,000 children!

We are honoured to welcome acclaimed author, Michael Morpurgo who will be joining our celebrations, sponsored by Spiral Partnership Trust and St Albans Education Trust.

We are delighted to offer all schools the opportunity to join us online via Zoom.

Date | Wednesday 25th September 2024

Time | 12.30pm to 2.00pm

Where | Online via Zoom

Michael Morpurgo was born in St Albans and had expressed a longstanding desire to read some of his work to school children in the Cathedral. We are delighted to facilitate this aspiration as part of our anniversary celebrations. Michael will not only read from his new book, Cobweb, but also engage in a talk and a Q&A session with the children.

There will be an opportunity for schools to pre-order signed copies of Michael's latest book, Cobweb, soon through Chiltern Bookshops

If you would like to attend this online, please get in touch with the Learning team at St Albans Cathedral.
