Congratulations to our team of eight Albans Riders who took part in the 30 mile cycle from St Albans Cathedral to Westminster Abbey on Saturday 18^th May. Chris Muhley, Chair of the Music Trust, was joined by Alex Veal, Tom Blackie, Ingrid Hesselbo, Nat de Silva, John Gardner, William Roberts and David Scriven – a combination of ex-choristers, chorister parents and friends. They joined the Westminster team, the WaCky RacerS, to a cycle the route into London where they were greeted by the Dean of Westminster Abbey and team. Collectively they have raised an amazing £7000 in sponsorship so far, which will be shared equally between The Diamond Fund for Choristers and St Albans Cathedral Music Trust.
