Book Club Join us to discuss our monthly book. The Book Club meets on the second Tuesday of every month to share ideas and enjoy thought-provoking discussions inspired by our monthly novel. We have two available groups to join and new members are welcome to either group - there is no need to book your place. Below are the upcoming dates for the book club meetings of early 2022 and the list of books we will be reading: 2022 14 June - The Scapegoat, by Daphne du Maurier 12 July - Miss Garnet's Angel, by Sally Vickers 9 August - We Have Always Lived in the Castle, by Shirley Jackson 13 September - Disobedience, by Naomi Alderman 11 October - Let the Great World Spin, by Colum McCann 8 November - Small Pleasures, by Clare Chambers 13 December - Hurdy Gurdy, by Christopher Wilson Books are recommended by book club members - if you would like to recommend a book please email [email protected] Times: 2.30pm and 6pm Venue: Both groups meet in-person at St Albans Cathedral. The 2:30pm group meet in the library above the Welcome Centre and the 6pm group meet in the Lawrance Room in the Deanery building.
