The Learning Department offers a fantastic award winning schools programme, with options for guided, worksheet and self-guided visits of the Cathedral. We can also bring our resources to your school as an outreach workshop as well as virtual workshops.
Welcoming around 14,000 pupils from over 300 schools per year, with some visiting through our Opportunities Scheme, the Learning Department activities uses the wonderful Cathedral building to teach a range of subjects, including RE, History, Art & Craft, Geography, Numeracy and more.
All group visits to St Albans Cathedral must be booked in advance to avoid disappointment on arrival. Please contact us to discuss your visit further or our FAQ's section will give you information of information on costs (including information on our Bursary scheme).
We look forward to welcoming you.
