The Learning Department receives outstanding feedback for its work, both from visiting pupils and teachers as well as independent assessors such as the Sandford Award for heritage learning. See below what people have to say about us, and then come and find out for yourselves!

Teachers and Pupils comments

Teacher from Clore Shalom School:

Thank you again for making the trip one of the best I have done in my time as a teacher. I thought the way you guys were with the children and the workshops were brilliant and they loved it as well.  Please pass on my thanks to the rest of your team as I was truly blown away by the experience.

Teacher from St Catherine of Siena Catholic Primary:

Nothing but praise for you all and our trip. I will forever be recommending St Albans Cathedral as a trip. You're honestly some of the most helpful, welcoming and engaging people around!! A massive thank you from all of us.

Teacher from St Andrews Primary:

We had a wonderful day and the children would not stop talking about it, even when they came in this morning!

Teacher from Bovingdon Primary Academy:

Our trip to St Albans Cathedral met and indeed exceeded our expectations. Children of Bovingdon Primary Academy thoroughly enjoyed both the historical trail, including the opportunity to participate in role play activities, as well as the clay tile making workshop.

Pupils from All Saints CE Primary:

Our best school trip ever!

Teachers from St Edmunds College:

Fantastic!! The group leader was exceptionally welcoming, professional and knowledgeable.
