The Learning Department offers a variety of activities that it can teach you in your own school. Available on selected days throughout the year, these include Roman, RE and PSHE workshops. Each activity lasts for 60 minutes and can be tailored to suit your objectives and to fit in around the school timetable.

Romans

In this interactive workshop, the children meet different characters from Roman Verulamium, including a Roman soldier, the town magistrate and a slave as they visit the Forum, the Basillica and the Temple. With the chance for children to handle Roman armour and various other artefacts, this activity brings the roman world to life in your own classroom!

RE - What do Christians believe?

This workshop brings a church to life within the confines of your school. By thinking about different parts of the church, children learn about what Christians believe, including Baptism, Communion and Celebrations. The children also have a chance to handle church artefacts, including a Bishops Cope & Mitre.

PSHE

Why not use our wonderful Labyrinth to help your pupils explore the PSHE curriculum? Walking the Labyrinth is a reflective and peaceful journey, with activities along the way to encourage children to think about topics linked to your current PSHE theme.

Can't see what you want? Then please call the Learning Department to discuss your requirements.

Thank you for providing such a great opportunity for our children today. They learnt so much and thoroughly enjoyed their morning.
