Follow our new walking pilgrimage to explore some of Hertfordshire’s most stunning and historical sites. St Albans Cathedral has launched a new walking route tracing Saint Amphibalus’ journey from his resting place back to the newly restored shrine built in his honour.

The 5.5 mile walk can be done in a day, following the River Ver from Redbourn to St Albans.

Please use the booklet below on your journey, which includes the route text and historical facts about the sites you will encounter along the way.
