When | Thursday 3, 10, 17 and 24 October Time | 7.15pm - 9.15pm Where | St Albans Cathedral House Offices Cost | No charge, a meal will be provided Tutors | The Revd Tim Bull and the Revd Will Gibbs The Christian faith is a vibrant blend of story, belief, worship and lifestyle. In ‘Elements of Faith’ we will be exploring each of these dimensions in an informal, yet enlightening way. This isn’t your typical theology course; it’s a pilgrimage of heart and mind. The course will delve into the key beliefs on which Christianity is founded and will begin by looking at the story of Alban and how encountering Jesus Christ changed the people he met. From these key beliefs about Jesus' life, death and resurrection, the four sessions will then draw upon the rhythms of worship and elements of the liturgy, such as the Eucharist - the meal of bread and wine which Jesus gave us, and how we can use valuable resources to help us, such as prayer, the Bible, and God's gracious forgiveness. We will journey together as we eat, explore, question and learn. Because faith isn’t a puzzle to solve; it’s a story to live.
