About School Visits

St Albans Cathedral offers activities for students of all Key Stages and beyond. Using role play, artefacts, experiential learning and the building itself, pupils encounter the stories and history of St Albans Cathedral and learn in new and inspiring ways through a variety of trails and workshops.

Covering a range of curriculum areas, including History, RE, Art & Craft, PSHE/Citizenship, Maths, English, Science and Geography, a fascinating and thought-provoking day in this magnificent setting can provide new skills, deeper understanding and a stimulus for further study.

School Visits from  January 2021

All school visits are currently on hold due to the current restrictions.  Once we can welcome you all again, our professional staff will be working hard to make this safe, in the light of evolving government guidelines. We will confirm arrangements nearer to your visit, but for the time being, bookings will be for no more than one school per session, and we will amend activities appropriately which involve artefact handling, dressing up, and arts & crafts. To make a booking, or to find out more, please register your interest below.
