Sing at St Albans Cathedral

When the Cathedral Choirs are on leave, the Cathedral welcomes visiting choirs from around the country and abroad to help maintain a regular pattern of choral services. 

We take applications from visiting choirs to sing during schools holidays and half terms
Available dates:

2023:

  • 6pm Evensong on Sunday 28 May 2023
  • 12 & 13 April 2023 5pm Evensong
  • 17-21 April 2023 5pm Evensong
  • 25 April 2023 5pm Evensong
  • 25 May 2023 5pm Evensong
  • 29 May - 2 June 2023 5pm Evensong
  • 6 June 2023 5pm Evensong
  • Sunday 29 October to sing both 11.15am Choral Eucharist and 6pm Evensong

2024 weekend and week residencies:

  • 6 & 7 January 2024
  • 13 & 14 April 2024
  • Week 12-18 August 2024
  • 24 & 25 August 2024
  • Week 26 August - 1 September 2024
  • 14 & 15 September 2024
  • 2 & 3 November 2024

In 2025 weekends and week residencies:

  • 4 & 5 January 2025
  • 22 & 23 February 2025
  • Week 22-27 April 2025
  • 24 & 25 May 2025
  • 31 May & 1 June 2025
  • 19 & 20 July 2025
