On Thursday, 27 October Dean Jo and Canon Will were pleased to welcome Archbishop Angaelos, Coptic Orthodox Archbishop of London, Chair, and members of the Orthodox Oriental Anglican Commission to the Cathedral.  This commission is one of the ecumenical working groups of the Anglican Communion.  They had a tour of the Cathedral and reflected together on the story of Alban and Amphibalus at the heart of this holy place.  Dean Jo commented ‘It was very good, in conversation and prayer, to reflect on our shared mission across the world and on how the story of Alban who welcomed Amphibalus, a Christian fleeing persecution, is still so relevant to us all today’.  Bishop Gregory, the Bishop of St Asaph, offered prayers for us and our mission together.
