Yesterday the Friends had a fantastic day trip to Canterbury Cathedral. Welcomed by Dean David Monteith and members of Canterbury Friends they then toured the Cathedral led by their Cathedral Guides. Everyone learned a great deal. After lunch they had the opportunity to tour various Cathedral gardens, including that of the Archdeacon of Canterbury, where Dean Jo and her family lived prior to coming to St Albans.

The Friends were wonderfully reminded that we are united as Cathedrals and also that we are part of the worldwide Anglican Communion.
