On Tuesday 21 December, the Cathedral lights up green to support everyone taking part in the NSPCC's Walk for Children. We're proud to be supporting the NSPCC this Christmas, and will be donating 10% of all collections from our Christmas services to them, plus giftaid.

"At the heart of the Christmas is the story of God come among us as a child who was a refugee, to a family at risk and at the margins of society.  More than a story it is the truth of God’s love for all the world.  At a time when the news reminds us again of the immense risk so many children live in the midst of, St Albans Cathedral is very pleased to support NSPCC this Christmas and to light our Cathedral green on 21 December to show our support to work together to build communities where all our children are loved, safe and can flourish."

~ The Very Reverend Jo Kelly-Moore, Dean of St Albans.
