St Albans Folk Festival

St Albans Folk Festival 2019 will be bringing fantastic folk groups to the city centre! Enjoy a day of dance and music as St Albans Folk Groups take to the streets as they dance in local venues around the city centre, including St Albans Cathedral’s West Front, and not to miss the St Albans Folk Festival evening concert taking please at the Roman Theatre of Verulamium.

To celebrate St Albans Roman Festival, St Albans Folk Festival would like to invite locals to write a new song in Folk, Roots or Acoustic style on theme ‘Roman Verulamium and St Albans Today’ where you can perform it at a St Albans Folk Festival event on Sunday 30 June – closing date for submissions is 31 May

Location: Day of Dance – multiple venues in St Albans City Centre; St Albans Folk Festival Concert – Roman Theatre of Verulamium; St Albans Folk Festival Event – TBC

Time: 10am – 5pm (Day of Dance); 8pm – 11pm (Concert); TBC (Folk Event)

Date: Saturday 29 June (Day of Dance and Concert); Sunday 30 June (Folk Event)

Tickets: Free – Day of Dance; £18 in advance and £20 on door – Concert; TBC – Folk Event
