The Brocket Consort was founded in 1991. The group of eight to ten singers all live in the St. Albans and Harpenden area of Hertfordshire. The Consort enjoys performing a wide variety of music from Palestrina to Pårt and is equally at home with a cappella repertoire and major choral works.
The singers are joined by a small chamber group of outstanding professional instrumentalists including Violinist James Clark (Leader of the Royal Liverpool Philharmonic), and Oboist George Caird (Head of the Birmingham Conservatoire)
Nicholas Robinson will conduct from the keyboard.
