‘The unsurpassed British glory of the baroque violin’ (The Times), Rachel Podger has established herself as a leading interpreter of the Baroque and Classical music periods. By popular demand, she returns to St Albans International Organ Festival to open its 2019 series of late-night Concerts by Candlelight.
Our exceptionally atmospheric venue is the most significant surviving Anglo-Saxon building in the county; much of St Michael’s Church dates back one thousand years.
