The Carol Concert with The Hospice of St Francis
Sun, 17 December 2017
Harpenden Choral Society and Sir John Lawes School Choir
Enjoy an afternoon of festive carols and Christmas readings in aid of The Hospice of St Francis. Set within the stunning Cathedral this is the perfect opportunity to bring family and friends together at this special time of year to support an important local cause.
The Hospice of St Francis cares for those living with life-limiting illnesses throughout West Hertfordshire and South Buckinghamshire and provides support for their loved ones. It is the only hospice in the area providing inpatient care, which is provided within its purpose-built 14 bed unit. The Hospice also has a health & wellbeing hub, The Spring Centre and a specialist community nursing team that provide care and support to patients at home. All of its services are provided completely free of charge, but the charity requires over £5million every year to provide its expert care for those in our community.
The concert will include performances from Harpenden Choral Society, led by conductor John Andrews and Sir John Lawes School Choir.
Please visit www.stfrancis.org.uk to hear more about our care and upcoming events.
