Sponsorship Opportunities

St Albans Cathedral sits at the heart of the city and the local community.

We offer a range of opportunities for partnership with local businesses and organisations to support and align themselves with inspiring heritage, award-winning learning programmes, uplifting music and unique special events.

Examples include:

  • St Albans Cathedral Fireworks Spectacular - the largest annual event in the region, drawing over 20,000 visitors to watch stunning fireworks above the beautiful setting of the Cathedral and Verulamium Park

2021 Fireworks - opportunity to sponsor

  • Speak your Mind - innovative programming for 500+ sixth form students to experience debate and public speaking events and workshops in the largest undercover venue in Hertfordshire
  • The Alban Pilgrimage - the renowned annual procession celebrating the identity of the city and the story of St Alban, re-enacted by 12ft tall carnival puppets along with hundreds of children and young people from the local community
  • And many other special events - like our forthcoming Life | What a Wonderful World? sound and light installation this October, Space Voyage, an out of this world experience which drew 20,000 visitors over a week in 2019, Poppy Fields, a stunning shared remembrance for the centenary of the First World War in 2018, and the Big Sing, bringing together local singers of all ages and talents in a one day rehearsal and performance in the Cathedral's nave

2021 Life! - opportunity to sponsor
