Job description
As a Sales and Events Coordinator you will ensure that enquiries, messages and bookings are dealt with courteously and efficiently. You will also assist the current general manager with sales and admin. 
 
Elior are looking for someone who will grow with the business and bring ideas to life. Abbots Kitchen is a well-known and loved café within the community with a friendly team and fresh-cooked lunches, cakes and coffee. The catering team also have the ability to transform the space in the evenings to accommodate all events that the cathedral offers including but not limited to concert interval drinks, formal dinners and catering for the graduations serving over 20,000 people.
 
Along with the general manager, the candidate needs to have a passion for events and have an understanding of how to bring ideas to life. Elior are looking to expand their external events and hope that the Sales and Events coordinator can help make this happen.
 
Responsibilities:
To assist the manager with preparing quotes for events ensuring all details are completed
Coordinating events from enquiry through to delivery
To follow up all leads/enquiries
To join meetings with clients and complete sales show rounds within the venue
To complete the weekly sales records as requested
To join Teams meetings with colleagues throughout the business
To maintain regular and effective communication within the team
Please note this is not a remote role and the successful candidate must live within a commutable distance.
