Information for Schools.

The Learning Department offers a fantastic award winning schools program, with options for guided, worksheet and self-guided visits of the Cathedral, as well as virtual and outreach visits. Welcoming around 14,000 pupils from over 300 schools per year, the Learning Department activities uses the wonderful Cathedral building to teach a range of subjects, including RE, History, Art & Craft, Geography, Numeracy and more.     The principal role of the chaperone is to assist the Master of the Music and Assistant Master of Music in ensuring the safety of the choristers and young people under 18 by providing a chaperoning service for all choirs’ activities when young people are present.
