Volunteer's Week at St Albans Cathedral

As part of National Volunteer's Week, The Education Centre at St Albans Cathedral is holding an Open Afternoon on Friday 9th June for anyone who is interested in working with the many school groups who visit.

Over 14,000 children of all ages worked in the Cathedral last year, studying a variety of topics including Art, History and RE.

As Education Volunteers' Coordinator Emma Bratton says, 'Teaching children in the awe-inspiring setting of St Albans Cathedral is a wonderful experience. The chance to share a passion for learning is an opportunity not to be missed.'

The Open Afternoon runs between 1.30 – 3.30pm in the Education Centre.
