Timothy Easter was born and educated in St Albans. He studied with Geoff Symon, Peter Dyke, Kevin Bowyer and is continuing his studies with Jeremiah Stephenson. His passion for the art of improvisation took him to Paris, where he studied with Naji Hakim. He has a keen interest in transcribing music for the organ; in particular the music of Erik Satie.
As a freelance recitalist, Timothy has performed in many major churches and cathedrals across the UK, as well as Kelvingrove Art Gallery. Future recitals include Blackburn and Truro Cathedrals, plus Royal Hospital School, Holbrook.
Away from music, Timothy has a keen interest in real ale and is an active member of CAMRA, mostly on the stewarding team at beer festivals.
