This is an exciting opportunity to join the Cathedral Marketing Team as we look to the post Covid future and re-opening to visitors. Working with the City’s visitor strategy, our aim is to make St Albans a first-choice destination for tourists and pilgrims alike.

This role reports to the Head of Marketing. The Marketing Assistant works alongside another full time Marketing Assistant. It covers an extensive range of marketing and professional skills including social media, email marketing, print, design and copywriting. 

To fill this position, we are looking for a graduate who is looking for their first substantive marketing post. Someone with flair, initiative, enthusiasm and keen to make a difference. This position is for a fixed term 18 month contract to be reviewed at the end of the period. It is anticipated that there will be scope for internal progression if desired as the appointment of a Marketing Executive position is planned at the end of this period for the right candidate.
