Introduction to the Old Testament

Wed, 27 September 2017

This course is an introduction to academic study of the Old Testament, covering the broad sweep of the text, but rooted also in the study of a range of specific passages, paying attention to their genre, structure, purpose, theology, and themes. While attentive to the historical and critical issues of academic research, these issues will be applied for a better understanding of how the Old Testament works as scripture.
