At St Albans Cathedral Education Centre we have a variety of trails suitable for all age groups and Key Stages. Each trail lasts for 90 minutes and allows the children to learn through role play and experiential activities in small groups.
Our trails cover a variety of subjects including History, RE, Art & Design, Maths and Music. If you can't find an activity to suit your needs or want more information on our work, then please call the Education Centre on 01727 890212 and we will be happy to talk to you.
Trails for GCSE, AS and A2 level students
We are very happy to welcome students with special coursework requirements and will devise or adapt a trail to support a programme of study.
Every November we host our annual Sixth Form Conference which is based on the same format as the BBC programme 'Question Time'. Past speakers have included Ann Widdecombe, Jon Snow, Michael Portillo and James Cracknell. To find out more about this event, please click on the link below.
Trails and workshops for children and adults with special educational needs
Our multi-sensory approach is particularly suitable for people of all ages who have special educational needs. Please contact the Education Centre to discuss a visit to the Cathedral and to arrange a trial to be adapted to your class.
