Over the weekend the St Albans Cathedral Education Trust hosted their first concert in the Cathedral, 'In a Strange Land'. It was truly a night to remember!

It was an evening of poetry and music, combining the music of the world-renowned classical singing ensemble, Stile Antico and oud player Rihab Azar, interwoven with the poetry of Lemn Sissay. The compositions told the story of travel, asylum, seeking safety and identity.

This Education Trust event was for people of all faiths and of none and we hope everyone who attended had a wonderful evening.

The St Albans Cathedral Education Trust has the aspiration for every child in the Diocese of St Albans to be able to visit the Cathedral and take part in our learning activities, no matter their circumstance.

By donating to the Trust today you will allow young people to engage and be inspired by their visit to the magnificent, historical place of worship.
