St Albans Bach Choir has been performing since 1924: recent programmes have included Dvorak’s Te Deum for the International Organ Festival 2023, Verdi’s Requiem (also in London's Cadogan Hall), Walton’s Belshazzar’s Feast, Bach's Mass in B minor with the choirs of St Albans Cathedral and The English Concert and Handel's Messiah with the London Handel Orchestra. In 2013, as part of the St Albans International Organ Festival’s fiftieth anniversary celebrations, the choir performed Britten’s War Requiem with the Britten Sinfonia under the baton of Sir Richard Armstrong. For a number of years recently, the choir joined John Rutter and the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra for their popular carol concerts at the Royal Albert Hall. The Choir is currently rehearsing John Rutters’ Magnificat and Requiem for November 11th concert in the Abbey (the Requiem to be conducted by the Composer) Embassy Brass - As individuals, the musicians of Embassy Brass perform with some of the world's finest orchestras and ensembles.
