Join Rabbi Adam from St Albans Masorti Synagogue (SAMS) for a look at the long history of Jewish desire to return to their ancestral homeland. While many believe that Zionism is a only modern nationalist movement, the reality is that it is a culmination of two millennia of Jewish belief, prayer and practice. From Exile in 70 CE to Redemption in 1948, we'll consider how the arc of Jewish history has been understood by Jews and Jewish texts.
