This five-week course aims to guide the student through the first five chapters of Jeremy Duff's The Element's of New Testament Greek (3rd ed). We'll get to grips with the alphabet, explore the use of 'cases' and decode verbs. Unlike Latin, a little bit of Greek goes a long way; therefore after five weeks the student should expect to be able to read some authentic NT Greek. If you're thinking to yourself, "I was hopeless at languages at school" and are reticent about attending, μὴ φοβοῦ (fear not): modern language learning and ancient language learning tend to be approached in two different ways. You may well find the ancient language way more intuitive. Remember: this course is designed for absolute beginners!
