How to Book

Following the recent government announcement that social distancing regulations are not being relaxed, seating arrangements for this concert have had to be reorganised. All current ticket holders were emailed on 21 June with details of the new arrangements. Please check your junk/spam folder if you do not appear to have received an email.

The artists have generously agreed to repeat the programme, so they will now perform at both 5pm and 8pm on Saturday 10 July. Both performances will be centred around Nicola Benedetti’s performance of Beethoven’s magnificent and magisterial Violin Concerto, for which the whole orchestra will discard their printed music and music stands to play from memory.

The Aurora Orchestra will perform Ballet Music (Chaconne and Pas Seul) from Mozart’s opera Idomeneo. Each concert will run without an interval, and will feature approximately one hour of top-quality music-making. We give particular thanks to Nicola for agreeing to deliver this epic 45-minute Concerto twice within only a few hours.

After the current ticket holders have had an opportunity to rebook their tickets for one of the two new performances, we will be contacting anyone on our waiting list for this event. Any tickets available after this will be available to book from Monday 5 July at 10am.
