On Maundy Thursday we recall the Last Supper that Jesus shared with his disciples before his arrest and trial, and his commandment to them to love one another.

11am | Chrism Eucharist

A sung Eucharist, gathering together the clergy and lay ministers throughout the diocese for an act of commitment to ministry and the blessing of the holy oils for use throughout the following year. Sung by the Parish Singers.

8pm | Liturgy of Maundy Thursday with Stripping of the Sanctuary and Watch at the Altar of Repose

This service includes the priest washing the feet of some of the congregation to recall what Jesus did at the Last Supper, and after the service there is a watch until midnight to recall the long agony of Jesus in the garden of Gethsemane that night. Sung by the Cathedral Girls Choir and Lay Clerks of the Cathedral Choir.
