We are delighted to be joined at the Cathedral by Science Magician Dr Matt Pritchard, who will be delivering an exciting and interactive 60 minute show packed with magic, illusions and science.

Aimed at encouraging critical thinking skills and scientific enquiry, this show is perfect for upper Key Stage 2 and Key Stage 3 pupils to complement their curriculum.

As a qualified atomic physicist, Member of the Magic Circle, and a curator of wonder, Dr Pritchard’s shows draw inspiration from the work of Edison, Tesla and others. Delivered in the awe-inspiring setting of St Albans Cathedral, a place that was at the forefront of scientific enquiry in the middle ages, this is a unique opportunity to experience science, magic (and religion?!?) in one powerful performance.

Matt educated and entertained children from 5 to 11 years with wit and wisdom. His manner was excellent, everything was pitched exactly at the right level for the age group he had in front of him. I would certainly use Matt again! A brilliant start to our Science week. - Wychall Primary School, Birmingham
