A friendly 5-week online Latin course based on the Cambridge Latin Course.  This will pick up from the work covered in the first Post-beginners’ course (Apr/May 2021). We have so far completed Stage 17 of the Cambridge Latin Course and learned:

  • the present tense and three past tenses
  • also nominative, accusative, dative and genitive noun cases
  • verbs which take the infinitive (volo, nolo, possum) 
  • word derivations and mottoes

No need to have attended our own courses up to this point - if you did a year or two of Latin at school or in the past, you will be well-placed to join this class. All sessions will be recorded and made available to students to watch through the next week, allowing students to catch up on sessions missed or re-watch classes.

Joining on Zoom

As this course will be hosted over Zoom, participants will need access to a device which has audio in order to be able to hear. In order to participate fully, a web camera and microphone are also advised.
