One of the truly legendary jazz singers comes to the Festival for the first time. Hertfordshire-born Elaine Delmar ‘truly defines the word class’ (Humphrey Lyttelton, BBC Radio 2).

Award-winning Elaine Delmar has an enviable reputation as one of Britain’s finest jazz singers. She continues to set the standard for sophisticated rich-toned interpretations of the great standard composers such as Cole Porter, Rodgers & Hart, George & Ira Gershwin, Irving Berlin, Michel Legrand and Stephen Sondheim.

Accompanied by two of the great names of British jazz: Barry Green piano and Simon Thorpe double bass.
