St Albans Cathedral is delighted to welcome back our Diocesan Easter Monday Pilgrimage. Now in its eighth decade, the annual Pilgrimage and service is a family event which includes grandparents, parents, young people, children, babies and even dogs from across our Diocese all journeying to our Mother Church to celebrate the truth of the risen Christ.

Many are walking from across the Diocese into the city on Easter Monday, 10 April, and will gather in the Abbey Orchard around 1pm for a picnic together. All are welcome to join this bring your own picnic and then be part of the procession into the Cathedral for the Easter Monday Service, at which the Dean will preach, which begins at 3pm. The service finishes by around 4pm.
