Organ and the infinite possibilities of electronics combine to extraordinary effect to bring this 1920 German silent horror film to life. Music improvised on the organ, with live electronics, by students from the Royal Academy of Music.

This performance will be directed by Franz Danksagmüller, a member of the distinguished jury for this year’s Organ Competition, whose innovative projects make links between historical and contemporary music, and between classical musical instruments and their modern electronic counterparts.
