Demonstration of Sacred Harp Singing Join the London Sacred Harp group for a singing session of traditional "shapenote" songs from the southern American repertoire of folk/worship music. Attendees will have the opportunity to sing along with professional shapenote singers while getting immersed in the atmosphere of the Lady Chapel. All the songs are sung unaccompanied with full voice in four-part harmony. Newcomers are very welcome to join in, or you can just listen if you prefer. Teaching will be given.
