Music from the 17th to the 20th centuries by Peter Hurford, Heinrich Schutz, John Joubert, Kenneth Leighton, Hubert Parry, Charles Wood, William Walton, Gordon Jacob and Alan Ridout.


Always one of the most eagerly awaited Festival events, the Three Choirs Concert this year features acclaimed choirs from St Albans, Cambridge and Salisbury in a concert of spectacular music for massed voices with organ including several works by Peter Hurford, founder of the St Albans International Organ Festival, who died at the age 88 in March.


Dedicated to the memory of Peter and Pat Hurford.
