25 years ago saw the first ordinations of women in the Church of England, and marked the arrival of the well-loved character of Geraldine Granger as she appeared on our screens as the Vicar of Dibley.

Come and join us for a drink and some popcorn as we celebrate these two events with a screening of an episode of this iconic series!

After the screening, our Subdean (pictured above) and Youth Chaplain, the Rev’ds Abi and Kim, will lead an interactive and engaging discussion about some of their own ‘Vicar of Dibley’ moments which they’ve faced in ministry, and consider some of the unique opportunities and challenges that women may still encounter.

To help us choose which episode to watch on the night, you’re invited to cast your vote with our twitter poll, which will be going live in mid-September. Follow us on @StACSC or @StAlbansCath to take part!
