Learning Adult Learning Courses The Life of the World to Come (SACT & SACT+) Explore the Christian understanding of life beyond death. This five-session course will focus on the meaning of death and life, asking questions about the resurrection of the body, heaven, hell and eternal life. We will explore the philosophical issues which make some people doubt the possibility of life after death and look at the origin of the Christian position and its justification. We will even see why the thought that the eternal contemplation of God might turn out to be a bit dull is actually rather an important idea! Each session will offer plenty of scope for discussion. This course can be taken as part of the Certificate in Theology or Certificate Plus. Full essay information will be provided once the course has started. Please note you can enjoy the course without doing an essay for SACT.
