For decades, the Church of England has struggled to find a place for LGBTQI people. There have been reports and listening exercises, discussions in synod and letters from bishops. This year, the House of Bishops have suggested the start of a way forward, but it is not yet entirely clear what this way forward will look like.

Bishop John Gladwin joins Charlie Bell to discuss what a good version of the future might look like, and reflect on how truthfulness, openness, honesty and integrity might be placed at the centre of the church’s vision for all people, including LGBTQI people.
