On Palm Sunday we recall Jesus' triumphant entry into Jerusalem on a donkey. The crowd waved palm leaves and covered his path with them. Today, we remember this with crosses made from palm leaves and our services throughout the day will include the blessing of palms.

9.30am | Eucharist with Procession of Palms

Meet by the Clock Tower on the High Street, ready to set off for the procession to the Cathedral. Bring a branch or some greenery from home to wave as we walk and recall Jesus's journey to Jerusalem.

11.15am | Choral Eucharist and blessing of palms

Join us for worship this Palm Sunday, the first day of Holy Week. Following the procession through the city centre at this morning’s Parish Eucharist, the palms are blessed as we remember Jesus’s entrance into Jerusalem and his death on the cross.
