Frank Capra's 1947 film It's a Wonderful Life is perhaps the classic Christmas film. The story of George, Mary Clarence, Mr Potter and the little community of Bedford Fall is much loved. Yet, there are dark shadows in it too, and much food for thought. What, if anything, does it have to do with the Gospel?
