At this time when many are experiencing an enforced period of 'rest' through the furlough scheme or social isolation, we asked Rabbi Adam to explore the Jewish pattern of rest and time.

Join R' Adam for a look at the ways in which the 6/1 pattern structures Jewish ideas of time. Starting with Shabbat every week, then the agricultural system of Shemittah (Sabbatical Year), and to the metaphysical conception of the age of the universe as following the same cycles, we'll look at how the idea of Shabbat shows up in scales large and small.
